Personal Training

When you have been in the health and fitness industry for as long as I have you get used to being asked questions about exercise and diet. Everyone always wants to know what to eat or what kind of exercise to do. Sometimes I think people just want to be validated in their efforts to “get in shape.” If they are out right doing things incorrectly I’ll of course do my best to quickly and efficiently explain to them why what they’re doing is wrong and suggest an alternative. However, usually I answer with a “maybe” or “I don't know.” The question they should really be asking is “Matt, what kind of training program is right for me if my goals are blah blah blah.” Then I know they understand what personal training is, and I can respond honestly with “ I don’t know, lets set up an appointment for an evaluation and then I can tell you.”

Personal training is individualized. Iron Lotus Personal Training is the wellness company you contact when you’re ready to take your performance to the next level. Personal training is for those who want results. A personal trainer evaluates your current physical condition, nutrition habits, medical history, exercise history, and your lifestyle in order to provide a plan that will help you attain your fitness goals. If you want guidance on making attainable goals and how to reach them you need a personal trainer. If you want to be educated about your body and how to use strength training, heart rate training, and nutrition to be healthier; then you need a personal trainer. A personal trainer provides ways to track your progress. A personal trainer teaches accountability and regularly coaches you about the importance of persistent effort toward your goals. The truth is everyone needs a personal trainer. I am a personal trainer and I often seek coaching on how to attain higher levels of performance in my life. A great trainer adds to the quality of your life no matter who you are or what you do. When you team up with a great trainer the scope of your positive results goes way beyond the gym.
