Regardless of what you are trying to accomplish, you need motivation. I don't care if it's fat loss, muscle gain, a six pack of abs, jump hire, run faster, or just plain look better.

The act of finding a quote that hits home and then typing it into my facebook status helps to motivate me.
I've decided to put my quotes here on my blog. I hope they give you some motivation to reach your goals.

I love this quote not only because Bruce Lee said it, but also because it brings to light something that most people and unicorns miss... If you limit what you think is possible for yourself in one part of your life, and except mediocrity, then you are training yourself to accept that all the time.
For example...Lets say you are trying to achieve a significant amount of fat loss. To get to your goal weight you try a fat loss program. The program says most will achieve x amount of fat loss by day y. When day y has come around you haven't reached the weight specified so you are discouraged and stop working towards that goal under the pretenses that "you aren't meant to be at your goal weight".
A. In that scenario you should've looked at the program and said if it's X by day Y then I'm going for W by day Y... NO LIMITS RIGHT??
B. Regardless of what you achieved, you need the ability to assess yourself.
Ask... Why did I miss my goal. Be honest with yourself, and DON'T EXCEPT AN EXCUSE. If you accept an excuse here then you will drag that attitude into your personal life and do the same thing with your job, emotions, maybe even your significant other.
