Cool Stuff: 50 things everyone should know how to do

For awhile now I’ve been wanting to add more things to my blog that I simply find cool and interesting. I have mostly stuck to fitness and health related things but now it’s time to expand.

Some of this content will be completely original and some just links to things I find note worthy for one reason or another.

The catalyst for todays post is stumble upon. If you’re not familiar with Stumble, it’s basically a social networking site that allows you to choose categories of personal interest and then click a button and it randomly takes you to a page on the interwebz that you may find interesting. That was a poor job of explaining so just go check it out yourself.

On to the daily matter... I’ve always hated the saying “jack of all trades, master of none”, it has a negative connotation about people who have a variety of skills.

Bottom line- If you want to be AWESOME, you have to know how to do a lot of things.

In fact, I believe that one who fancies himself or herself a master, probably fucks up a lot. This happens because they are blinded by their own delusion of knowing something so well, that they cannot be wrong... Like a doctor who is so positive of a diagnosis, or a mechanic who can fix anything the first time.

So I stumbled upon this post about “50 things everyone should know how to do”

Everything from flirting to starting a fire and negotiating. It even includes links within each suggestion to an article or site that can help you learn these basic skills.

Rant over. Click and enjoy
